Email #9 - Contextual Guidance


Greetings from your team at Restwise!

Now that we've covered all the foundational data surrounding your daily recovery score, it is time to start explaining how fatigue monitoring can optimize your training. We'll do so in three emails over the coming days:

The first will target "contextual guidance": explaining what normal ranges are for some of the markers, how you can support your body's natural adaptive and recovery capacities, and how some of our athletes have used Restwise to guide and augment their own training plans.

The second will focus on specific training and coaching advice (recognizing that everyone's training is a bit different, so not all of the advice will apply to everyone all the time): ranging from basic score interpretation to thoughts on what "training optimization" means, this email will give you the tools necessary to harness the Restwise insight to support whatever fitness goals you have.

Energy Level
The third email will discuss some of the behavioral aspects of "recovery aware" training, and should help you develop a more sensitively-tuned understanding of the markers, particularly the subjective ones.

Important: you may remember from an earlier email that the trending analytics embedded in some of the markers wouldn't be picked up by the Restwise algorithm for a few weeks? Now that you've (hopefully) entered data for 15 consecutive days, most of this analysis is now baked into your daily recovery score calculation. As such, you should feel increasingly confident in relying on your daily score to help fine-tune your training. The score will continue to stabilize, but it is close enough now that you can start using it proactively... and you'll learn how to do so over the coming week.
